Robbers Truss Up Three Take $1300 In Bonds

In Erie Pennsylvania two masked men bound two women and a crippled man with adhesive tape and escaped with government bonds valued at 1300 dollars. They detained Mary Maras 54 and Ruth Havercam 54 and the crippled son John 36 after threatening to search a safe. Maras freed the victims and returned home about an hour later.

Noted Publisher Robert R. McCormick Dies at 74
