She was 35 and survived by several children and was a St Mary’s Catholic church member. Peter Carnes aged 85 died last night at his son-in-law James Dennison’s home on Hildreth Street. He leaves three children Joseph Peter Carnes and Irene Dennison. Carnes was vigorous despite aging and enjoyed excellent health until a few months ago after his seventieth birthday he cut his third set of teeth.
