Canton notes the death of Ida Saxton McKinley at 1 05 pm Sunday after a long invalidism. Funeral planned at the McKinley home with Archb r Aft Kinless pastor. Roosevelt Loeb and Fairbanks to attend. The body to enter West Lawn vault and mausoleum on Monument Hill.
President Roosevelt will leave Washington to attend Mrs. McKinley's funeral in Canton with Secretary Root Garfield Wilson and others. He will then travel to Indianapolis for Decoration Day ceremonies and to Lansing for Michigan agricultural college anniversary events.
In Cincinnati the National League game ended Chicago 3 and Cincinnati 9. St Louis beat Pittsburgh 11 to 5. In the American League both games ended tied St Louis 8 Boston 8 and Chicago 8 New York 1. The American Association results include Minneapolis 6 Kansas City 5 and St Paul 1 Milwaukee 2. Columbus 4 Indianapolis 3 and Louisville 8 Toledo 2.
May Irwin the actress married Kurt Eisfeldt at her summer home on Irwin Island in the St. Lawrence River. The ceremony Sunday was witnessed only by the bride's two sons, Harry and Walter, marking a private family wedding.

In New York City a trunk found in a tenement room contained the decomposed body of Father Kaspar of Hoboken. He had collected funds for his Armenian church and was believed murdered for the money he carried. Two men named Sarkis, aged about thirtyfive, were arrested after the trunk was opened. The autopsy cited suffocation after probable drugging.
In Zion City Chicago March 27 following a riotous meeting at Zion City Standas Wilbur Glenn Voliva the successor to Dowie called police to restore order as factions opposed to the younger leaders dictatorship gained strength. The dispute centers on Voliva’s stance against a general conference and his right to name a successor with threats to pursue the matter in U S courts.
The Indiana Masonic Grand Lodge announces its representatives and delegates will meet in Indianapolis on May 28 for the nineieth year of the organization's existence in Indiana. The Grand Lodge reports 34 lodges and about 48 000 members with a net annual gain of 2 295 and strong lodge finances. In Vienna news reports the Austrian election results show the Social Democrats likely largest. In Tracbinia Galivia election disturbances left eight dead and forty injured.
Coroner's verdict suggests foul play in the death of Edward Moers whose body was found in the Wabash River after falling from a barge. He died from a head wound and investigators consider possible murder while the cause remains under inquiry. Also contains an advertisement for Dr Kings New Discovery claiming cures for coughs and throat illnesses.
Day Armatrong was found guilty of murder in the second degree and faces life imprisonment. He killed his sweetheart after she refused marriage, according to the May 27 report from Booth Head, Indiana.
