Park Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings, May 26 and 37, feature Armoricas organization drawing listeners across Coastro towns. In Atlantic City the troupe has held the stage for five years at the Million Dollar Pier, drawing wide public interest.

John Wolford and Laura Finger plan a 6 am wedding at St Marys and trip to Milwaukee. Charles Parker from Waterloo returns after his father’s death. his daughter Mrs Edward King joins from Chattanooga. A welcome party honors Miss Mabel Slider with pink and white decor and refreshents.
William O Shaw and eleven heirs sue Florence L Shaw in circuit court for partition and sale of 39 East Springetrees plat 13. Property valued at 2500 with a 760 mortgage and taxes. Heirs claim indivisible interest and ask a commissioner to sell and distribute proceeds per interest. Attorneys: G H Heater and N R Peckinpaugh.

Last night large crowds attended local option campaign meetings at the Central Christian and Trinity M E churches, with about 1500 inside Central Christian and many overflowed to Trinity. Speakers included W D Upehan of Atlanta and John Carney of Handley, with R M Minton of Indianapolis and Fred Rohrer of Berne addressing attendees. the event ran until past 1 am and featured temperance music and chalk talks.
Nellie Thompson suffered a severe fall after stepping off a street car near Pearl and Spring streets. The accident left her unconscious briefly and she was taken to her home on East Third and Elon streets for several days of recovery with facial bruises and a cut above the eye. Dr. J F Weathers treated her for the traction company.
Mrs. Marie Taylor of Nebo Kentucky writes that Back len s Arnica Salve cured him when doctors thought he would die. The claimant lists uses for burns, scalds, sores, corn, wounds, bruises, fever sores, boils, skin eruptions, chilblains, chapped hands and piles priced at 5 cents at Obas.
Earl Embry files suit against MacDonald Engineering for 2000 damages claiming personal injuries from a February 24 scaffold collapse during grain elevator construction. He states a broken arm back injuries and body bruises due to defendant negligence. Paris and Trusty represent plaintiff.
Governor Marshall is expected to appoint heads and deputies under the public accounting law within days. He seeks an executive head with practical inspection system skills, naming potential choices from Democrats and Republicans, including Wm Fogarty and Wm C Bobbs, amid party tension. The June Bloomington editors banquet features Marshall speaking on Good Citizenship.

Investigations point to taxicab investments as a factor, with Parker abroad and links to a local taxicab firm and a pending fare legislation impacting the firm’s downfall.
Secretary MacVeagh rectifies a political injustice in the Terre Haute internal revenue district. Seven Democratic gaugers were demoted to store keeper gaugers on January 18, while Republican store keeper gaugers were promoted. The civil service commission found political motive, and the secretary orders the men reinstated to their original ranks and status.

In San Francisco on May 18 Rudolph Spreckels banker testified in the Patrick Calhoun bribery case. He explained his opposition to Calhoun’s railway development plan and how he shifted to support the prosecution after contributing $100,000 to prosecute municipal conditions in 1906.
In Richmond on May 18 Sheriff Kemp and deputies arrested William Barrett alleged bookie and Michael O Rourke alleged doorkeeper as a betting ring was shut down at the Virginia fair grounds steeplechase event.
Washington May 18 Mrs Taft is said to be suffering a slight nervous breakdown with no cause for alarm and officials expect she will be well again in a few days at the White House.

In May a woman living south of the city killed her brother in law Julie Burnett after threatening to kill her husband and her three year old child. The husband was attacked when the wife shot Julie Burnett then fired again after an initial wound proved fatal. The woman was arrested, an inquest held, and she was released to await action by the Saline County grand jury.
Indianapolis grain and livestock prices show wheat at $1.40 to $1.45 for No 3 red, corn 75 cents for No 3, date 56 to 64 cents for No 2 mixed, hay prices ranging 12 to 17 dollars, cattle around 4 1/2, hogs 4.00 to 7.50, sheep 2.50 to 6.50, lambs 6.00 to 9.50 with receipts of hogs 3 500, cattle 700, sheep 50. Cincinnati lists Wheat No 2 red at 1.49, corn No 2 at 77 4 cents, oats No 3 at 68 to 66 1/2 cents, hogs 4.26 to 7.50, lambs 6.06 to 9.04.
