Murder of Mother Charged to Harris Narrowed Indictment
Rushville Indiana May 8 Paul Harris aged twenty five has been indicted for the murder of his mother Mrs Minnie C Harris. The grand jury returned the indictment after a two week inquiry. Part of Mrs Harris burned body was found March 12 in the ruins of her farm house six miles northeast. Coroner Shauck said the verdict charged murder and arson to cover the crime. Harris was said to have motive to inherit the property.
