Cremated in Home. Emporia Kan March 15 In the destruction by fire of the home of Chas Grimmett at Americus near here one of his children was burned to death another was fatally burned and Mrs Grimmett was seriously burned in rescuing the children.
In Louisville Kentucky on March 15 Hollis H Price formerly with the Price Barton Hay company pleaded guilty in federal court to falsifying weights and conspiracy to violate interstate commerce laws and was fined 1025 dollars.

He ruled Sherrick could not be found guilty of grand larceny but said he supervised state funds and embezzlement was complete when he invested or loaned them. He rejected defense that funds were insurance tax money in custody of the treasurer. He urged no officer may authorize investment of state funds and warned against linking Governor Hanly to the case.
