Three Die in Mine Car Accident at White Wall
An accident at the White Wall coal mines in Marion county Tennessee on Saturday left three men dead and five others seriously injured. A car with sixteen men on the incline crashed after the drum brake failed and the rope broke, sending the car speeding down. The dead are J. W. Stewart Lawrence Wattery and John Abcott.
