John Loughmiller died peacefully at 1 14 p m at his East Spring street residence after a long heart ailment. Born in Hawkins county Tennessee about 83 years ago, he moved to Didiana as a boy, lived in Washington county, and later settled in the city. An elder of the Second Presbyterian church, he was survived by a wife and two adopted daughters Mrs Jacob Miller and Mrs Will Hintton. Funeral arrangements to be announced.
