Toledo grain markets show cash wheat isc and Sept, corn steady 41 1/2, oats 23 1/2.
Marion Indiana July 25 B F Burk part owner of the Marion cycle works says the bicycle business is a thing of the past and the factory will reopen making other products, not bicycles. He notes that many large bicycle makers must transform to new industries.
In Shelbyville Indiana on July 25 the sheriff in charge of J Marsh Wilson, convict of flagrant false theft against the county, faces public criticism for lax confinement. Wilson is described as a guest with near unrestricted movement, seen out late, while the court has taken no action. His property was handed to his business associates in Goshen.
Reverend T. D. P. Connor, a noted farmer near Milltown, was struck on the head when a power heavier broke in use. His skull fracture is reported and serious results are feared. he is past seventy years old.

In Vincennes Indiana during a political discussion Hon Maitland Claycomb former legislator and four county Democrats clashed with H R W Potts a Monroe City resident. Potts was badly injured and filed a Knox circuit court suit for 3000 dollars seeking damages for his injuries.
In Nashville Indiana on July 25 Young Mc Guire and Dillon Barnes quarreled during an ice cream social. Mc Guire cut Barnes five times in the chest and fled after Barnes knocked him down following a stabbing. Barnes is listed in dangerous condition.
Emmet Brown of Waterloo, West of Butler, was instantly killed when he stood on the track awaiting a passing freight and failed to notice an approaching Lake Shore limited train from the opposite direction.
