Reyes’s dispersed forces fled. he was paroled by President Madero on condition he stay in Linares. Madero confirms capture and expects trial, with amnesty sought for his followers.

In Shelbyville Indiana on December 26 Andrew Jackson aged forty was likely fatally shot by Morris Winston aged thirty two during a dispute over Winston's attentions to Mrs Jackson who was present. Winston has vanished.
Baltimore December 26 report says King Davis a Black man who struck and killed Frederick A Schwab a white man at Fairfield was dragged from the Brooklyn jail and fatally wounded by a mob Davis was beaten with hatchets as he was transferred.

The family had been walking back from Stop 23 when the car appeared and forced them to lie down. Mrs. Hunter is expected to recover.
The Daily Calumet plant in South Chicago was wrecked by men believed tied to a black hand group. The press and linotype machines were damaged after explosives were used beneath the press. Editor George W. Rolling, active in anti black hand efforts, has received threatening letters since wartime sentences were handed to several plotters last year.

Seven year old Ralph Ladd was struck by a car driven by A. G. Cummings manager and treasurer of the United States Powder company in Terre Haute Indiana and was instantly killed as he rode his bicycle into the street on December 26.
