Philadelphia August 29 The steamer City of Trenton of the Wiemington line exploded its port boiler on a trip from Philadelphia to Trenton NJ. Eleven were killed and over twenty injured as fire and capsizing sent passengers into the river. The wrecked boat ran aground near Torresdale and many victims were brought to a nearby hospital.
