The funeral of Mrs. Nancy Allison was held this afternoon from her daughter’s home at 518 State Street. Interment followed in Kepley’s cemetery in Georgetown township. The Park Christian church pastor Rev Frank T Porter will preach at the dedicatory of Salem’s new Christian church next Sunday morning with Rev N R Dale of this city also delivering an address. A large crowd attended the Glenwood Park outing by the Ancient Order of Hibernians of Jeffersonville and the city, with euchre and supper by the Ladies Hospital Club to benefit St Edward’s hospital. Walter Stewart, arrested in Jeffersonville, was brought to town to answer a charge of neglect of his children, the father‑in‑law, John B Rater, having filed a care‑of claim and handled the children since the death of Stewart’s wife.
