Quarrel Between Printers Ends in Shooting in Fort Wayne
In Fort Wayne two printers Harvey Wells and Frank Drakemiller quarreled last night about 8 o clock. Drakemiller drew a pistol and shot Wells near the right shoulder blade. Wells is in critical condition. Drakemiller surrendered but not yet jailed. Tomorrow Jiiram Iddi assumes Pension Agent duties for the Northern District of Indiana. Wheat harvest begins in Vincennes County with rust affecting quality though yield expected above average. Some farmers plan to harvest and plant corn. the heat of the season was the hottest yet.
