The Harold V Knecht Post American Legion sponsors the second annual Halloween parade at eight o clock tonight. Ghosts, bands and floats will march from East Centre Street through the Circle and Green Street with three divisions and numbered cards for prizes.
The Moorestown Farm Products Show, a community event with exhibits from the surrounding area and county visitors, is scheduled for Saturday November 9. A committee meeting with county agent B L Coleman at the Moorestown Hotel completed plans and set exhibit reception times.
Cardinal Dougherty said Sunday commercial motion pictures injure religion and morality. Attendees at the Lehigh Valley Past Grands I O O F dinner in Allentown included Mr. and Mrs. Horrigle Knecht Fehnel Heyer Siegfried and Itterly.
A Postmaster's Dream presented at the county festival with fourth to sixth graders from Fairview building. Prologue and roles featured named students with a chorus of letters from foreign countries. Directors were Miss Schlegel, Miss Knauss, Miss Kleckner, and Miss Kreidler. Local families motored to Tamaqua and Pottsville on Sunday.
John Thomas Wilson reports from New York that the Next President poll shows President Roosevelt leading in the popular vote with 42 119 to 35 091 from 84 082 ballots in 38 states while Republicans lead in electoral votes 255 to 223. Roosevelt leads in 19 states and the Republicans in 18.
Nazareth High School senior class presents the comedy The Goose Hangs High by Lewis Beach in the school auditorium under Miss Elizabeth Sloat. The play follows Mr and Mrs Bernard Ingall awaiting their twins Lois and Bradley from college for Christmas with Cousin Julia dropping in to lecture Eunice on youth and parental sacrifice. Lois and Bradley arrive after a trip home in a $150 old Ford then dash to a dance as a telephone call interrupts.
Dr. Edmund Schwarze of Calvary Moravian Church Winston-Salem traveled along the east coast and into Nicaragua visiting Moravian mission stations and a new hospital where Dave Thaeler is head doctor aided by Mary Schlegel as head nurse. He will present pictures at Schoenck Moravian Church Sunday at 7:30 pm for the public.
A Sunday gathering at the Thomas Remaly residence marked the thirtieth wedding anniversary of Edgar and Mrs. Barrall, Mrs. Remaly’s birthday, and the engagement of Grace I. Remaly to Kenneth A. Barrall. Guests included Oliver Heimer, Ellen Reimer, and George Abel Jr., with Grace Remaly and Kenneth Barrall among those present.
In Richmond the public schools closed Friday for a teachers institute. Visits sample includes Nazareth Rev. and Mrs. J. P. Shook and children from Morristown, N J, to W. Van McShaney family. Morris Depue of Lower Mt. Bethel toured H. C. Depue and family. Gordon P. Brown of Allentown spent weekend with relatives. Mrs A A Frey and daughters Ruth and Madge visited relatives. Pumpkins and corn are being gathered for the Halloween celebration.
Nazareth high school football coached by Andy Leh remained undefeated 5-0 with a 19 to 7 victory over Catasauqua in a hard fought Saturday clash at Catasauqua. Nazareth rolled up 166 points to 7 against this season, gaining 269 yards while limiting the hosts to 60, with Ray Douglas directing and Deutsch Rundle and Pratipiedro contributing key runs and a scoring pass. Captain Gorto and the Leh unit press toward next Saturday’s showdown with Bangor, also unbeaten.
The Resettlement Administration plans to acquire 20000 acres in south central Pennsylvania with 199000 dollars. Three sites in Perry Huntingdon and Bedford counties will form the purchase to restore forests and game in worn out farmland. Regional Director A W Manchester says no pressure is applied.
The Easton Hospital board, meeting on October 17, 1935, approved a plan guaranteeing 21 days of hospital treatment per year for all residents within the service territory at a cost under three cents daily. The program is open to all associate members, obtainable simply.

Probable Nazareth Bath lineup includes Shook Mahor sky Paukovite Garland Werner Hahn Sieg fried McGregor Stannard Altemose Kiefer with EllER Sencenbach Roscoe Ruhr Fratipiedro likely to see action.
Nazareth School teacher Miss Marion Crawford Schaeffer wed Charles Llewellyn Shimer in a Moravian church ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father J Allen Schaeffer with a large floral background and traditional music by church organist Franklyn Kostenbader. Bridesmaids included Miss Minam Klawan, Miss Marion Stein, and Miss Margaret Abernethy.
The Bath Fire Company Wrestling Team, coached by Milo Meixell, trains two to three times weekly in the Firemen's auditorium. Remaining members include Arch Leigh, Ray Deiley, William Bachman, Frank Sensenbach, George Strunk, and others. New uniforms will be ordered and the team plans to meet strong regional rivals including New York and Katetown clubs.
Sunday activities include a 9:00 am Sunday School and 10:00 am Lutheran service led by Rev Apple Martha Hall. Mary Reimer visited Mrs Laura Seifert. Mr and Mrs Herbert Trach hosted Granville Peters’ family. A Salem Church Reformed congregation benefit social runs Nov 2 from 4 to 10 pm with special music and Karl Bader of Bethlehem among speakers.
Department of Commerce surveys show October amornt disap pearing with warm weather reducing fall purchases in many cities. New York shows weakness from last year though overall October activity is better. Holiday buying remains strong and private industry absorbs unemployment as federal and state projects gain pace.

Raymond R Flick of Nazareth aged 27 died recently. Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 PM at Helehonam Ty with burial in Moorestown Cemetery. Survived by relatives including Rayny Flick, R Flick, Richard Mwa, and George.

Mr and Mrs John Edelman announce the marriage of their daughter Grace Edelman to Glenswood Jones son of Mr and Mrs Edward Jones of Bangor. The ceremony was held October 10 by Rev Messner in Carlisle Pennsylvania.
