Barn Fire Destroys Edelman Farm Outbuildings
A barn, corn crib, and a shed on Charles Edelman’s Northampton area farm near the Hard Vein slate quarry were burned Sunday evening. Firemen from Stockertown fought a rapidly spreading blaze that destroyed the structures and most of the season’s grain and hay.
