Miss Elizabeth Sencenbach Hosts Nazareth Sewing Club
Miss Elizabeth Sencenbach entertained her sewing club at her Washington Street home Friday evening. Members from Nazareth and Bath enjoyed refreshments prepared by the hostess and guests including Marion Kern Eleanor Gano Lahoma Pepper Dorothy Walker Mary Day Hilda Ervin. The event featured a Banquet Took Turk and speeches by Melvin Houser and others. The group installed John Topier as president with Phillip Heller and Phares Heller as secretary and VP and William F. Houser as treasurer. A memorial for Dr Helffrich was voted, funding an acousticon, broadcasting system, and pipe organ installation with a 500 budget. Richard Leiby named ways and means chair for the drive. Feb meeting led by John Spanitz.

Annual Banquet of Reformed Churchmen's League Held
Upwards of 60 members attended the annual banquet Friday night marking a successful gathering. Richard Leiby presided at the installation of 1935 officers. Rev Sydney S Smith of Northampton spoke on The American Standard of Living. Music featured an orchestra from St Paul’s Reform Church Northampton led by Russell Marsh.

Obituary of Estella Hutchison of Bath at 59
Miss Estella Hutchison died of a heart attack at her Bath home on Washington Street at 2 PM Friday, aged 59. Born August 16, 1875 in Lower Mt. Bethel, she lived most of her life in Bath. Survived by siblings Lillie Blair, D M James, Olive Hutchison, Susie Hutchison of Bath, and Samuel Hutchison of Allentown, plus Mrs. Samuel Sheffy of Allentown. Funeral Tuesday from her home, interment Greenmount Cemetery Bath. Rev J M Minnich officiated.

Charles Graver of Cross Roads and director of the First National Bank is a patient at Allentown Hospital with an improved condition. Visitors Saturday at the Frey home on Main Street included Mr. and Mrs. Carl Montgomery of Mertztown and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin McKee of Allentown. The wives of these men, Misses Geraldine and Merle Diehl, plus Mr. and Mrs. Clarence A. Hawk and family of Northampton, visited in town Saturday.

Sleighing Parties Light Up Nazareth Week
Four decades ago Nazareth hosted numerous sleighing outings including 180 at the Inn for Tuesday supper and 140 on Wednesday with the Mandolin Club of Catasauqua. Nazareth Hall residents Elwood Stiver and Charles Stiver visited, plus 17 Nazareth Waist Co. women sleighing to Bethlehem for supper. Bushkill Creek ice measured twelve inches. Pen Argyl council visited Nazareth Council and enjoyed a supper at Ziegler's hotel. Several children of Francis Granda contracted diphtheria.
