Nazareth School District Board Advances Budget Plans
The Nazareth School District Board approved January tax collections of $4,919.92 and $738.50 in bills for payment. It granted use of the High School Auditorium to Nazareth Choral Society for April rehearsals and concert. Exonerations were issued for uncollectible Per Capita taxes totaling $781 after review. A biennial chest X-ray exam for all teachers and staff was ordered, funded by the district. A preliminary budget for 1939 1940 was discussed with a tentative plan to be prepared for March. An adjourned meeting is set for February 20 at Nazareth High School.
