42 years ago Dr G J Wimmer spent Sunday at his old home in Macungie and traveled to Nazareth with his sister Miss Mary Wimmer of Philadelphia. Frank Martin was in New York from Saturday to Monday. Misses Helen and Marie Crawford visit East with friends for several weeks. F P Hahn sold the High and Cedar street corner lot to Peter Kreit. Workmen began on the cellar Wednesday and Hahn will have it completed by April 1. Mark D Frankenfield, Rutvtown Normal School student, elected librarian of the Keystone Literary Society. Benjamin Fehr, farming north of town, reports hard luck after two horses died recently. Conrad Miller to start building a dwelling this summer opposite the Whitfield House. Harry Hoch at J Ahnst & Son to leave soon, Charles W Clewell to succeed. A female horse owned by Ge Heckmin gave birth to a foal. Werner Last returns home. Abel reports running dry and needing to stop. Sunday night no rain and four hours of show. The sun on Tuesday was bright but too intense, bringing mud.
