The Minnetonka Tribe No. 284 of the Red Men met Tuesday evening with past Sachem Geo rge A Kubilus presiding. Officers present included those honored as past Sachems. Candle Service Shines At Moravian Church Christmas Vigil
The Moravians held their annual Christmas eve candle service with a full auditorium. "Silent Night" in German opened by the choir and trombone choir, led by Rev. P. S. Meinert. The service featured a praise and love feast, special anthems, and the candlelight anthem Behold a Light. The candle custom dates back over seven centuries, with children lit by wax torches distributed by the Dieners. Monday night the Sunday school departments presented a Christmas program under Charles Adams directing the orchestra and singing.
