Bathite Dies in New York Auto Collision

Matheny Bhunk a Bath native 23 4 mm, died in a Huntington New York auto collision with a gasoline truck Saturday after 1888 at 12:90 o clock. He was born in Bath June, the son of Stephen Shunk Wise and Catherine Nee Yost. A baker by occupation, he had lived in New York about a year. Survived by his father and one sister John and Frederick and Virginia of Bath and New York City. Body sent to Bath by train. Services held at 2:00 PM from Wade Street Funeral Home with Greenmount Cemetery, L Kerstetter, pastor Lutheran Church.

Nazareth Couple To Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary Sunday

Nazareth Mr and Mrs Tilghman Clewell of 120 South New Street plan a Sunday open house from 2 to 5 pm to mark their 50th wedding anniversary. They married on December 25 1870 and have a large family with 29 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The couple have been active in the Schoeneck Moravian Church and moved to Nazareth area after farming careers in Nazareth Bath and Newburg.
