Upwards of thirty officers and past elders of Zinzendorf Chapter Royal Arch of Masons of Bethlehem attended a clam bake at William H. Appalachian at Point Philm pa on August 13. The bake was prepared and served by Owen W. Kurtz and his corps of assistants of Bethlehem.
The Woman's Missionary Society and the Girl's Guild gathered in the U. S rooms with Mrs. Lillian Schall presiding. Evelyn Reinert, Lillian Reinert, and Mrs. Howard Jones gave readings. Dorothy Smith reported on the Collegeville summer Missionary Conference. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Schall and Mrs. Jones.
Bath Greenlawns beat Northampton A C in both ends of a doubleheader at Bath Blue Heron Lake. Siffles and Hartzell joined Hartzell to handle batteries for Bath while Frese pitched both games for Northampton. Also notes a Girls Guild and Missionary Society joint session at Christ Evang el Church and a 500 club gathering hosted by Mrs. A. B. Leiby with several attendees.
Miss Elmira Smith and Louise Harding shared time at Northampton High while Republicans plan a large delegation to the County Rally at Bushkill Park next Saturday with Judge A. H. James and Senator J. J. Davis as principal speakers. Mr and Mrs Fred Kreider and daughter Evelyn of Glenrock New Jersey visited George W Kriedler on Washington Street. Delbert L Siegfried of Newton New Jersey spent the weekend here with friends.

Mr and Mrs James K Worman hosted many relatives and guests at their Bo Walnut Street home on Sunday. Visitors included William Craig and family from Scranton and New York City, J T Lerch of Philadelphia, Truman L Worman of Bluefield Virginia, Rachel E Worman of Allentown, Mrs Howard Hartzell and Rev Ralph Hartzell at Gilbert, and Gilbert resident Byron Schupp. Additional hosting by L W Siegfried and family brought Edward and George Siegfried and Clarence Siegfried from Steelton.
