County 4-H Club Members Win Big at State College
Northampton County 4-H members traveled to State College for Club Week winning multiple honors. Swine judging team members Allen Hower Paul Schlegel and John Fogel earned a silver trophy. Fogel and Schlegel placed second and fifth individually. General livestock team placed third among nineteen teams. Gold medals went to Harriet Judd and Grace Miller in the street outfits style show. Mabel Hower won silver in street outfits and blue in judging. New motion picture coverage will aid county meetings this winter. Total enrollment reached 1220, a record for Pennsylvania 4-H events.

The Pennsylvania Fish Commission outlines legal methods to take live bait from public waters.
