Highway Patrolman Investigates Wrecked Car With No Driver
Patrolman A L Bouldin spent Monday morning near the Brazos River bridge in Washington County investigating a single car wreck. The 1956 Ford registered to Joe Leback of Navasota was found overturned after leaving the road, but the driver remains unidentified. Leback had reportedly gone to work Monday morning and was believed to be in good shape. Police hold the wrecked auto as officers continue contact attempts with the missing driver.

Bedias Jet Pilot Missing Over Pacific After Training Flight
Capt Jimmie R Adams of Bedias and Lt Donald Treps of Olivette Mo were reported missing and presumed killed during a navigational training flight over the Pacific off Northern Japan.
