Twenty indictments were returned Monday by the Grimes County Grand Jury of 12 members at Anderson with Judge Max Rogers presiding. The slate includes 12 burglary charges, five theft counts, one assault with intent to murder, one attempt to escape jail, and one count of making and passing a false instrument in writing. Man Arrested Here On Felony Theft Charge
Booker T. Fielder, 26, arrested at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Officer Daryl Fuqua on felony theft. Tools worth 150 dollars taken from a Tru-Weld truck at the Blue Bonnet Cafe. Lightning strikes power line on Nolan Street

Improvements Planned For Hiway 90 East
