Winners of the Grimes County Dairy Association poster contest will be announced at the Bicentennial dairy poster contest night and barbecue at the VFW Home Thursday June 3. Grimes County Delivers Six Month Budget Shift Of 90000
In a special session Friday Grimes County commissioners moved 5000 from environmental protection to public safety and adopted a six month budget from July to December 1976. The plan allocates 15000 per precinct for public transportation and maintenance, 5000 for rural dump grounds in Precinct 1, 20000 for sheriff salaries, and 5090 for courthouse improvements.
