Dom Petro Lecture Set Friday By CAAAN
Dom Petro, Southbury artist, will present a lecture Friday at St Francis White House as part of the Cultural Arts Advancement Association May Arts Festival. He holds a Columbia University BS and FBA cum laude, with varied work in forestry, road construction, a shoreline barge, and social welfare. He is past president of the Columbia Art Student Association and has taught at McTernan School for Boys, UConn Hartford and Waterbury branches, and Hampden Pater School of Attin, with current painting instruction in his Southford studio. He served in WWII with the U.S. Army armored forces in Europe from Feb 1945 to Feb 1946, discharged as Chief Warrant Officer.
