Dr. Robert R. Sterrett southeastern regional manager of Uniroyal Chemical Division died Sunday in Chattanooga hospital. A Dalton Ga. resident, he served 35 years at Uniroyal with roles in R&D, technical service and sales. He advised India on population control for the Ford Foundation in 1964, held 12 patents, and published works on lubricants. Survived by wife Mary and three sons, funeral today at Harrison Funeral Home Lexington Va.
