Courageous Woman Captures Thief in Delta Store
In Rome on May 1 a young man named Bellinger entered Jackson Clark’s Delta general store and demanded money after tendering a dime for 5 cents of crackers. Mrs. Clark wrestled the revolver from him, the alarm was raised, and her husband and two others pursued and captured Bellinger a half mile north of Delta. He was drinking at the time.
