Woman Hit With Frying Pan Attack in Connecticut
Carmelo Lantieri, 37, bludgeoned his girlfriend with a frying pan in a Monday morning assault. He was arrested at 3:08 a.m. and jailed on a 500000 dollar bond as investigators seized the pan and other items. The victim, hidden by state law, was moved to Waterbury Hospital in critical then upgraded to fair. authorities warn the case could become murder if she dies. Officers obtained a search warrant for Lantieri’s residence at 438 South Main Street. The incident remains under investigation by Naugatuck police and CT prosecutors.
