Greene wins four candidate race for General Assembly
Leonard C. Greene, a Beacon Falls selectman, won the special election for the 105th General Assembly District, defeating Lisa Berkoski and two petitioning candidates. Greene secured 1,619 votes in Beacon Falls, Seymour, and part of Ansonia, boosting Republican representation as Democrats hold a 96 to 55 majority.
