Father Connor Awards 67 Diplomas At Ceremonial
Father Connor presented diplomas and scholarships to 67 graduates of St. Francis School last night at Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury. Principal Charles Shaw announced the ceremony with Rev. Gordon D. Wadhams as speaker and Benediction by Rev. Francia Monahan. Honor students included Kenneth Beardatey and Nicholas Seavane among others. scholarship sponsors listed as Ojeda Cornell and the Council of Catholic Women. Special services followed at an Episcopal Church with Rev. Winfred B. Langhurst delivering a sermon.
