Thousands witnessed the annual Conmecten Tort Abstinence union parade in Naugatuck with Old Glory prominent. The march featured town regiments, out-of-town cadets, and allied groups, reviewed by dignitaries. Redding California June 18 Lassen Peak America's only Jive volcano has erupted 600 times in seven years according to reports by three local volunteer observers to Prof J S Diller of the United States Geological Survey who is here for several months studying the volcano's activity.
