Mrs. Ignacy Kuczynski 78 of 357 North Spring St died Thursday morning at St Marys Hospital after a brief illness. Born January 1899 in Poland she resided here 44 years and was a member of the Naugatuck Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. Survived by husband two sons John of Los Angeles and David of Sayville, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. at Fitzgerald Zembruski Syrillo Funeral Home conducted by Elder Samuel Comunale. Burial Grove Cemetery. Friends may call today 3 to 7 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Keller Placed On Probation After Assault at Waterbury Station
Richard Keller a 21 year old of Beacon Valley Road received a two year probation and a suspended jail term after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers at Waterbury station following an evading charge. A concurrent 30 day suspended jail sentence on operating under suspension and a $15 fine were also imposed. The judge cited Keller's Marine service as a factor in leniency.
