Woman Held For Mail Fraud Indicted in Hartford
A federal grand jury in Hartford indicted 22 year old Ann Bailey of Plaistow New Hampshire for mail fraud obstruction of mails and possession of a stolen credit card. She allegedly opened a credit card and a post office box in a friend’s name Joan Shea and charged purchases at D L Department Store New Britain last summer. The bills were sent to the post box and left uncollected. Shea, unaware of the purchases, was contacted by authorities. Bailey will be summoned to appear in U S District Court in Hartford.
