Miss Mary Elizabeth Rooney of 927 East Main Street died at St. Mary's Hospital Monday evening. The medical examiner ruled natural causes. A Providence born practical nurse, she was a longtime private caregiver and Immaculate Conception Church communicant. She leaves a sister, Mrs Eben Galvin of Hartford, and a niece. Funeral Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from Bergin Funeral Home to Immaculate Conception for 9 a.m. Mass. burial at St James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call today 7:0 to 9:0 p.m.

Mrs. Josephine C. Testa 45 of 28 Irving AL died suddenly at home Monday. An autopsy was performed Tuesday after the medical examiner was notified. Born Waterbury October 31, 1928 she was the daughter of Marie Devine Paulella and the late James Paulella. She worked at National Homes until recently. Surviving are her mother of Prospect and several children including James Lord Plantsville Linda Lord Hartford Dennis Spring Windsor Joanne Testa Waterbury and Darlene Testa Waterbury her brother James Paulella Prospect and two sisters.
