Seymour Students Win Annual Assembly Awards
Seymour High School awarded annual assembly honors to the upper classes with U. MacConnie presenting the scholarships and Coach Joseph Gesek distributing athletic awards. Recipients include Theodore Zopko 100 scholarship from Seymour Women's Club and chemistry prize, Audrey Belsire 100 scholarship from Lower Naugatuck Valley Women's Club and 100 from Citizens Engine Co., Hallie Jund 100 from Heaton Falls PTA and prizes from Ansonia Emblem Club and Naventuck Valley Business Woman's Club, Madeline Gregory 250 from Seymour PTA, Adice Chatfield a scholarship, Linda Lucas 100 from Seymour Lions Club, plus numerous other awards for scholastic excellence. The eighth and ninth grades also received awards in a program led by Louis C Bevecqua.
