In New Haven on Congress Avenue early today Policeman Davis interrupted a break in at the Connecticut Woolen Co. The burglars had packed woolen goods valued at 3000 dollars but escaped without taking any items.
A fifth woman, named in Mrs. Teva Kaber’s statement, was arrested at her Cleveland home this morning. Prosecutor J C Stanton said she would be held in solitary confinement until Mrs. Shaber and her daughter arrive.
Dedham Massachusetts June 10 two eyewitnesses to the Paymaster Frederick A Parmenter and guard Alessandro Barardelli killings testified in court today that they could not identify Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti as the bandits they saw committing the murders, despite seeing the crime.

Washington June 10. May Roy Haynes of Hillsboro Ohio was named prohibition commissioner to replace John C Kramer at the White House. Haynes a newspaper editor and former head of the Miami Military Institute Germantown Ohio holds the rank of major and has ties to the Methodist Episcopal Church and the anti saloon league. He previously ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for congress in 1912 against Fess.
U S Steel reports unfilled orders on May 31 totaling 5,482,487 tons, down from 5,845,224 tons on April 30, a decrease of 362,737 tons. The monthly statement from New York notes the lower figure reflecting demand and production activity.
London reports the Federation of Miners announced a general referendum ballot on mine owners' compromise proposals to settle the national coal strike after a general conference of miners' officials.

New York June 10 Eva Catherine Khaber told police after a long interrogation that her husband Daniel Waber was stabbed to death by a Spanish spiritualist and his wife. She said she sought aid from spirits to influence him over alleged cruelty and denied arranging a killing, claiming she only hired them to frighten him.
Mrs Eva Catherine Kaber and her 19 year old daughter Marian McArdie, charged with complicity in the murder of Daniel F. Kaber, her husband and Lakewood publisher, depart New York for Cleveland at 9 45 am under Lakewood police escort. They travel aboard the New York Central and expect to reach Cleveland by 10 pm. The pair, appearing calm after intense questioning, chat easily with a detective at Grand Central. The mother calls this a home coming and thanks officers and the public.
Washington June 10 Elmer Dover a prominent Republican and friend of President Harding said to be in Mexico City in conversations with Obregon is not on any government mission. White House states Dover has not been authorized to approach Obregon on US Mexico relations. Cabinet to discuss Mexico issue and a state department decision on Obregon's petroleum export tax is expected. Oil companies fear constitutional challenge and seek redress in Mexican courts if necessary.
Five hundred American rotary club delegates were formally welcomed by the Jord mayor in Liverpool on June 10. After ceremonies, the rotarians departed for Edinburgh.
