Mrs Florence Brewer Clymer 73 of 370 Quinn St died Thursday in her home after a brief illness. Wife of W Wayne Clymer she was born in Trenton the daughter of the late Jacob A and Emma Brewer. She moved here from Bennington and retired from Chittenden Insurance in 1964. She leaves two sons Richard A Clymer Matta poisel Mass and Kenneth W Clymer Binghamton NY one daughter Mrs John Pearson Naugatuck a brother Albert Brewer Waterbury a sister Mrs Earl A Bowen Severna Park Md nine grandchildren and a great grandchild Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 am at Alderson Funeral Home with Rev Barton Bovee officiating Burial Monday at 2 pm in Riegelaville Union Cemetery Friends may call today from ? to 9 pm.

The Coast Guard and Department of Transportation launch a nationwide campaign to back Loran C radionavigation. Loran C, a second generation system, uses advanced electronics and lower frequency to boost accuracy and range. A Loran C position is about 900 yards at 1000 miles from a transmitter and narrows to feet near shore, with Congress sought to approve a $24 million upgrade and expansion.

Two Murders Reach Circuit Court in New Haven
Two suspects, Shirley Clay and Robert Sheffield, faced murder charges in Circuit Court 6 for separate Wednesday night killings in New Haven. Clay's bond dropped to 90 000, she is jailed at Niantic.
