Naugatuck man charged in rape of five-year-old
A 56 year old Naugatuck man Bruno Vasilaitis was arrested on two counts of sexual assault involving a five-year-old girl who allegedly was molested in his home over several occasions. He turned himself in at about 7 14 am and was arraigned in Waterbury Superior Court held on a 55000 bond. The charges include first degree sex assault for penetration and third degree for risk of injury to a minor. The child, not from Naugatuck, told her parents on January 19 triggering the arrest.
