Three Brothers Reunite Home For Christmas 1947
At Olive Street home of Mr and Mrs Jones Clay the three brothers Fred Clay and half brothers Robert and Irvin McGowan gathered for Christmas for the first time since 1941. The brothers served in the Navy and Army during World War II with Nobert wounded in Europe and others recently discharged. Clay on leave from the Maury Air Force base and the family expressed deep gratitude for the holiday gathering and its significance to their family.

Anthony Roman Dies Suddenly at Home
Anthony Roman aged about 52 died suddenly early today at his home 20 Spring Street. Medical Examiner Dr. William E. Hill ruled natural causes. Born in Poland he came to the United States about 35 years ago and was employed as a caster at Eastern Malleable Iron. Surviving are his wife Mrs Stanisla Ignals Roman and four daughters Mrs Joseph Waniewssi of Bristol Miss Victoria Roman Miss Florence Roman and Miss Jane Roman all of Nauguadis. Funeral services will be Monday at 8 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home 320 North Main Street to St Wedwig's Church for a requiem high Mass. Interment in St James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow evening 7 to 9 and Sunday 2 to 10.
