China indemnity cut in Boxer revolt settlement
Washington December 26 China will be relieved of eight million dollars of the twenty seven million demanded by the United States as indemnity for Boxer outrages. The administration after reviewing all American claims and army and navy expenses concludes seven million dollars will cover the bill.
