Veteran Newsman Succumbs in Connecticut Broadcast
Bruce Kern longtime WTIC TV and WTIC Radio announcer and actor died at Hartford Hospital aged 35 after a 16 year career. He anchored WTIC TVs evening news for 16 years and later worked at WTIC Radio. Survived by wife Virginia Blain Keto and daughter Laurie Kolestar. Funeral arrangements incomplete.
