Isabella's Christmas Party Held By Daughters Of Isabella
The Daughters of Isabella held its annual Christmas party at the American Brass Country Club with chairwoman Mrs Any Hildreth assisted by several members. Nine Christmas plays were presented and elf-embossed match boxes given to attendees. Prizes awarded to Mrs Hazel Duffy Mrs Fay Martnelli and Mrs Phyllis Karbowiccz. The event drew Rev Daniel Karpley and many members and guests. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will meet Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Eagles Hall with president Mrs Frances Keller presiding. Reports on the Christmas sale and children's party will be given followed by a social. Hostesses are Mrs Dorothy Crandall Mrs Rachael Piel Mrs Marie Prunjeki and Mrs Doris Morton.

Christmas Buffet Supper At Naugatuck Junior Club
Large turnout for the Naugatuck Junior Woman's Club Christmas meeting on December 15 at the Congregational Church Parish Hall. Hostess committee members Mrs Jatin Murphy and Mrs Edward Kaminsky supervised a buffet supper. Guests included Mrs Morgan Broadhead and Mrs Clifford Teeple. Teeple spoke about Christmas is Forever and gifts were collected for Mental Health Patients. A fine presentation of the state award winning play The Green Room Blues followed.

The St. Francis Parents Club held its first general meeting in the school hall. About 300 guests enjoyed an evening of entertainment by school children including a Christmas customs pageant narrated by Richard Minkie and a Nativity scene featuring Beth Phalen. The combined Girls and Boys Choirs, under Sisters Mary Blanche and Marie Patrice, performed with pianists and guitarists. Firestone records were won as door prizes by Mrs. John Riser and Mrs. Victor Alves. Members are urged to send Christmas cards to veterans in the hospital.
