Meriden police and federal authorities pursued two white men after they robbed the Centennial Plaza office of the Central Bank for Savings Tuesday. About $20,040 was taken as workers and two customers were ordered to the floor. no shots were fired and no injuries reported. Suspects fled in a late model car. one stands about 5 feet 10 inches, the other around 6 feet. This was the 39th bank holdup in the state this year.
