Boy 13 Loses Both Legs In Train Accident

In Wethersfield Connecticut a 13 year old, Thomas Rizza, is in fair condition at Hartford Hospital after placing his legs under a New Haven Railroad freight train. The accident occurred at 9 49 p m on Middletown Avenue near Mill and Maple Streets. He was taken to hospital Wednesday afternoon after surgery. The boy's father and mother live at 315 Middletown Ave. A friend Gary Tousignant was uninjured. Police said details will be released after investigation.

Bristol Man Sent To Prison

A Bristol man, 26, convicted of six charges of molesting young girls in a Bristol Park, was sentenced to two and a half to six years in State Prison. He was identified by a tattoo of an eagle on his arm after his arrest on injury to children and indecent assault charges.

Plainfield Firm Granted SBA Loan for Expansion
