Women Observers add Democratic Women’s Clubs to form committee
Formation of a four member Democratic Women’s Observers Committee was announced by Mrs. Gertrude O'Donnell and Mrs. Beatrico Rosenthal as a joint project of Connecticut Democratic State Central Committee women and Democratic Women’s Clubs. The group will serve as public information center in the House lobby during the session, organize corps of volunteers for public hearings, and testify on pending legislation. Co chairs are Mrs. O'Donnell and Mrs. Rosenthal. Executive Board includes Mrs. Lyi Parer, Mrs. Isabel Sherman, Mrs. Marion Newberg, Mrs. George Juree, Miss Katherine T. Quinn, and Mrs. Gertrude Cwikla. Additional officers serve with Connecticut federation of Democratic Women’s Clubs.
