Father and daughter share kidney transplant at Yale New Haven
Eugene Krasowski of Milford and his seven-year-old daughter Dabbie were listed in satisfactory condition after a four hour operation in Yale New Haven Hospital. The father's kidney was transplanted into his daughter with funds raised through voluntary donations totaling 17000 by the Debbie Fund led by Charles O Dowd of Bridgeport.

Norwalk to buy South Norwalk station for 177,500
Norwalk Mayor Frank N. Zullo says the city will purchase the South Norwalk railroad station for 177,500 from Penn Central. Directors have approved the sale if Penn Central can keep a ticket office and freight space at the site. The agreement goes to the State Public Utilities Commission for review.
