Coroner Healy ruled no criminal negligence for Jamies Clestry Le Marings Charlie TW towed Prosxpent and Wot ter Teraykowski of 24 Woudblaa street Waterbury in two separate fatal incidents. Anthony Flatstrunk, 65 of Salem, died after a South Main collision with a car driven by Clement Crouch, 63, of 18 Green Street Waterbury on November 2. Dalatenak was struck while walking on Main Street south of Bayly Street.
Navy veteran Park T. Ti and fellow servicemen aboard the USS Maskell are among 850 carrier battle group personnel returning to the United States on the Magic Carpet mission. The group departed Okinawa November 22 and is scheduled to reach San Francisco soon, with discharges processed at nearby separation centers before civilian travel home.
Local resident Sergeant Alphonse Lagownik United States Army Air Forces has been honorably discharged after nearly three years of service. A Nuugatuclk high school graduate and former Eastern Malleable Iron Co. employee, he formerly delivered THE NEWS. Lagownik served as top turret gunner on a bomber, was shot in the eye by shrapnel when his plane was abandoned, and was captured after parachuting.

He earned the Asiatic-Pacific Theater ribbon with two battle stars and the Victory Medal.
Sergt. Leuchars, a photographer in the U S Marine Corps, was honorably discharged Tuesday in San Diego California. He is visiting his sister in Yeoman Charlotte Leuchars and his parents, Mr and Mrs William, and expects to arrive home Christmas Eve.

Firecontrolman first class Marold O Hoffman of New Haven road was discharged after over three years in the U S Navy aboard the destroyers USS Wainwright and USS Hobby. He saw action at Iwo Jima and Okinawa and participated in the occupation of Japan before returning to the United States in October. A Naugaluck High School graduate.
Stamford police and state officers arrested New Haven railroad trainman Matthew Kurzatwoski at his home on a Superior Court bench warrant charging possession of more than 1600 lottery tickets. He is held for trial in Stamford.

Blam Sergt Creslo A Palmoski of 36 Anderson Street served with the U S Marine Corps for more than three years in the Pacific and Marshall Islands. He joined July 7, 1912 and returned home via Hawaii November 25. He later transferred to the Air Force and Navy mechanics before discharge.
ACMM Oddo Vagnini of Naugatuck is home on leave with his parents at 325 Gord Wan street after 22 months of active duty in the Pacific. He entered service in April 1942 and trained at Great Lakes, Navy Pier, and the Naval Air Technical Center in Chicago.
