Washington reports the house appropriations committee states America's dry army is adequately manned and needs no extra personnel. The post office department funds for prohibition enforcement total 27,344,905 dollars. Fire from a defective chimney today threatened a dormitory of the New Haven Normal School of Gymnastics on Chapel Street and Sherman Avenue, New Haven. It caused nearly $5,000 in damage before being extinguished.
