Peter Hall 91 of 55 City Hill Street longtime Burgess died at home after a long illness. Born in Kent Connecticut March 27 1858 he worked at U S Rubber Co until retirement in 1930. An honorary trustee of Naugatuck Methodist Church and former Kaichis of Pythias member, he served as burgess from 1918 to 1921. Survived by son George L. Hall, grandchildren Dorothy Holtis and Arthur Nauger of Naugatuck, and Edward MacConnie of Seymour, plus six great grandchildren. Funeral Thursday 2 PM at Alderson Funeral Home Meadow Crest with Reverend Matthew Gates officiating. Burial Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM.

Girl Struck By Car Escapes Serious Injury
Eight year old Sandra Bonvicini of New Harwinton Road Torrington escaped serious injury after being struck by a car on Main Street. Police identified the driver as Justine O'Donnell of Naugatuck. The girl sustained a bruised right knee as she darted into traffic. The Y's Men's Club will meet for dinner at 7 30 in the YMCA cafeteria with President Bradford E. Smith presiding and State Trooper Edward Dooling as guest speaker.
